Haugan Montana

Located in: Glacier Country

Haugan was named for H. G. Haugan, who was the land commissioner and comptroller for the Milwaukee, Chicago, St. Paul and Pacific Railroads. The first post office was established in 1911 with Lavina Emmert as postmaster.

Haugan is located in western Montana, 5 miles east of the Idaho border on I-90.
