Worden is a richly productive agricultural area as a result of the Huntley Irrigation Project which brought water to the region. Worden was named after Senator Joseph Dixon's wife whose maiden name was Worden and whose father was a prominent citizen.
Worden is located in southeastern Montana, northeast of Billings off of I-94.
