Boyes Montana

Located in: Custer Country

Boyes was named for Arthur Boyes who homesteaded the southern part of Carter County. The first post office was established in 1906 with John E. Johnston as postmaster. Boyes returned to his native country, England, after being an early-day mail carrier.

Boyes is located in southeastern area of Montana, northwest of Alzada on Highway 212.
