Montana Snowbowl boasts one of Montana's greatest continuous vertical drops, 2600 feet from the top warning hut to the base area. Enjoy versatile terrain with just the right amount of challenge for the beginner or the expert. Deep powder in natural bowls make great skiing at Snowbowl. Runs are carefully groomed each night to maintain a quality skiing base. With a lift capacity of 3080 skiers per hour you will have plenty of skiing time to explore the more than 900 ski able acres.
Enjoy a full service cafe that is open all day and specializes in fresh baked goods and friendliness. The Last Run Inn is a lounge with a decidedly laid back atmosphere, great food, including pizza cooked in a wood burning oven, a wide selection of micro brews from around the Northwest and a healthy dose of skiing conversation. And when you're ready to rest for the night there's our new Gelandespring Lodge right at the base of the mountain. It features 25 affordable rooms (some with private baths, others with shared baths), with access to a common kitchen and TV room. You can look forward to a hot tub after a full day on the slopes, located outside to enjoy Montana's starry skies, its great lodging for guests who want to make first tracks.
Directions: Snowbowl is located just 20 minutes north of downtown Missoula. Interstate 90 skirts the edge of Missoula, and Highway 93 and 200 run right through town. You can also fly into Missoula on Northwest, Delta, and Alaska/Horizon. Take the Reserve Street Exit North off I-90, follow Grant creek Road 4.5 miles north, turn left on Snowbowl Road 6.5 miles to the top.
