The Mandorla Ranch is an exclusive B&B Spa catering to one guest party at a time--your own private getaway in the foothills of the Mission Mountains! The Ranch is quiet, private and beautifully secluded with 360 degree views overlooking the Mission Valley and upward into the Mission Mountains. The custom-designed log home showcases cathedral ceilings, inviting public areas and dining room, international and local art collections, a well stocked and diverse library, and massive stone fireplace and intimate seating areas. Our ranch is ideal for small family reunions or intimate weddings.

Guests' favorite pastime in the summer is to relax and enjoy the stunning Western sunsets from the Great Room and Cappuccino Cowboy bar. Hiking and biking, riding and wildlife viewing is abundant, and a lot of major local attractions can capture you for a day. The nearby National Bison Range offers an abundance of wildlife to observe, rivaling only that found in Glacier National Park. Rodeos, pow-wows, music and festivals are among the number of seasonal events held throughout the summer.

A spacious Victorian Suite features a French provincial king sized, story book canopy bed, wood burning fireplace, sat. TV, antiques, with marvelous views from every window. Luxurious bathroom features custom tiled shower mural, body sprays, steam bath, European bidet, and hydro and aria-therapy Jacuzzi tub for two with a private entrance to the greenhouse and spacious cedar sauna. It also has a lovely chair and one half which makes into a second bed by night, and serves as a cozy curl up nook by day. The spa, located on the eastern porch of the suite, faces the majestic peaks of Mt. MacDonald, and features a million dollar view during sunrise or under the clear stars of the Big Sky. Available second room features all Victorian antiques and double oak bed, also with private entrance and close to the hot tub under the stars. Breakfast delicacies include delicious breads, muffins, waffles, egg dishes, specialty meats and gourmet coffees. Special dietary meals prepared upon request. Special rates for stays over five nights.

Outside ranch animals abound--from American Quarter Horse Paints to mammoth Labradors. Lewis the Llama, Sir Grizzly (a Maine Coon cat) and Mad Mav (a black Lab) provide comic relief. Pets and smoking are not permitted in the guest quarters as a courtesy to all guests. The ranch offers fabulous opportunities for wildlife and bird watching. A grizzly has even been known to wander by now and then!

Directions: Mandorla Ranch B&B Spa is located off Highway 93 between St. Ignatius and Ronan, 50 miles north of Missoula and 20 miles south of Polson. From Highway 93 turn east at Eagle Pass Road. Go east exactly 3 miles and then veer right onto Allard Road. On Allard Road drive exactly 3/4 mile to ranch driveway, which will be on the left next to mail boxes and B&B sign. Turn left into driveway and follow it 3/4 of a mile to the top of the hill, go over the bridge spanning the canal and to the very end of the road, which is at the large log home.
