NW Montana's Leader in Environmental Education.

Since 1983, the Glacier Institute has been providing hands on, field based educational adventures to people from all over the world in natures spectacular classroom, the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem with Glacier National Park at its center.

Our instructors are experts in their fields and their unique teaching principles offer students an objective and science based understanding of the area's ecology and its interaction with people. Through this non advocacy approach, participants are inspired to make well informed decisions which contribute to the healthy sustainability of our future ecosystems.

Join us for one or more 'Learning Gone Wild' Adventures field based in nature's wildest place on earth, the Crown of the Continent: Family Programs, Youth Science Adventure Camps, Wildlife, Cultural History, Geology, Natural History, Birds, Water, The Arts, Traditional Crafts, Plants and Fungi, Ancient Forest and Fire and Survival Skills and Tracking.
