The Oregon Short Line Railroad once brought travelers to Yellowstone in style and comfort. Today, the 1903 executive car has been restored to museum quality and sits in the heart of the West Yellowstone Conference Hotel. It serves as the theme for the Oregon Short Line Restaurant. A full year has been spent on restoration of the car. The furniture and appointments are original. Railroad history experts have commented that it is the most perfectly preserved executive rail car in the world today. Tours are free.
Directions: Going West from Bozeman on I-90, take Exit 298 to US Highway 191 south and drive approximately 110 miles to West Yellowstone
.Going East from Butte on I-90, take Exit 265 to US Highway 191 south and drive approximately 145 miles to West Yellowstone
.Going North from Idaho Falls on I-15, take Exit 119 to US Highway 20 north and drive approximately 110 miles to West Yellowstone.
