High Country Trails is located just six miles southwest of Kalispell, Montana in the heart of the Flathead Valley. We offer guided trail rides from one hour to all day on the private 800-acre family ranch. The ranch provides a variety of wildlife, wildflowers, and panoramic views of the Flathead Valley and the majestic Rocky Mountains. We are open from May 1st through October and can accommodate from two to twenty riders by reservation.

Enjoy a two-hour horseback tour of the ranch with lunch or take a cool evening ride with an old-fashioned steak cookout prepared on the trail. Take the family fishing at an alpine lake or an overnight camping trip on the ranch - just bring your bedroll and personal gear!

Learn to ride with private lessons by a professional instructor; group lessons are also available.

High Country Trails can customize a horseback adventure vacation for you!

Saddle up for a truly Western Montana experience - come ride the High Country with us this summer!

Directions: High Country Trails can be located by turning south at the intersection of Highway 2 and Meridian Road, following Meridian Road, to the south end and turning right onto Foys Lake Road.
