Four person capacity; cost $30.00. Wood heating stove and propane lantern are provided. No drinking water. Summer access 1.9 miles by trail on foot, horseback, or motorized vehicle less than 50 inches wide. Winter access 3.1 miles from Trail Creek Road/Newman Creek Road junction via snowmobile, skies, or snowshoes. Winter access varies with snow conditions.
Directions: Located 20 miles southwest of Livingston. Proceed south of town on Highway 89 to Trail Creek Road Forest Access. Turn west on West Pine Road and proceed approximately 9 miles to the parking area. Travel beyond this point is restricted to vehicles 40 inches wide or less. The distance by trail from the parking area to the cabin is 3 miles.
