Eight person capacity; cost $35.00. Wood heating stove, propane lantern are provided. Drinking water is not provided. Accessible by snowmobile or cross-country skis in winter (5 miles), high clearance vehicles in summer.
Directions: Located 16 miles northeast of Wilsall. At the north end of Wilsall turn east off Highway 89 onto the Shields River Road, continue north about 8 miles to the Porcupine Road. Turn east and proceed 8 miles to Porcupine cabin. During winter, skis, snowmobiles or snowshoes are required to travel the last 1.5 miles of road to the cabin. Low clearance vehicles not recommended.
