Monument Ridge Trail (339) is park of the Deep Creek Figre 8 Loop National Recreation Trail. The first 1.1 miles can be driven in a 4x4 or other high clearance vehicle. The last 1.6 miles is very steep and rough even for hiking. The recommended season of use is early summer to mid-autumn.

Directions: Travel 7.6 miles north of Logging Creek Campground on Forest Road 839 to junction with Forest Road 268. It is 1.6 miles west of Forest Road 268 to junction with Trail 339. The Trailhead is ROG Route Location 56.
