Solomon Ridge Trail (142) is a long trial along the border of the wilderness at first then into the wilderness and up to the divide. High, dry ridge trail, bring water.

Length: 8.5 miles.Trail Begins: Trailhead on Rock Creek Road 102, 9 miles south of I-90.Trail Ends: Bitterroot Divide

Directions: Take the Rock Creek Exit on I-90. Go south on Rock Creek Road for about 5.5 miles. At the Solomon Fishing Access you'll find parking and the trailhead across the creek.
