Woods Bay is a state recreation area located in northwest Montana on the Flathead Lake. Flathead Lake is the largest natural body of fresh water between the Mississippi River and the Pacific Ocean; therefore there are unlimited water sports to be enjoyed. Fishing, boating, sailing, swimming, scuba diving, windsurfing, and virtually any water sport you choose. Woods Bays is intended for day use only. It provides visitors with a boat launch and restrooms. There is access for camp trailers. This state recreation area is located near the town of Bigfork, Montana. There are restaurants, stores, and postal services in Bigfork.

Directions: Woods Bay is located 14 miles south of Bigfork, Montana on Highway 35, at milepost 27 go one mile west on County Road.
