Jumping Creek Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. The campground is well back from US Route 89 on Sheep Creek at an elevation of 5800 feet. Several of the campsites overlook the creek and most of the 10 sites are nestled under mature spruce trees. Comfortable is one description for this campground, but there is little understory providing minimal privacy between sites. The campground is convenient for travelers on US Route 89. Sheep Creek is located nearby and hiking trails are accessible into the woods. Please limit to stay to 14 days and a small fee is required.

Directions: From Neihart, take US Highway 89 south 17.3 miles to campground sign. Turn left at sign and go 0.3 miles to campground.
