Have you ever just wanted to get away and experience a great campout adventure' Cottonwood Meadows is your answer. Our private camper and campground is along the banks of the Yellowstone River, with outstanding views of the Crazy Mountains. Excellent fishing from the banks of the river or hook up with a local guide for float fishing. Located just 5 miles west of the western town of Big Timber, this beautiful setting among the cottonwood trees is part of the historic Lewis and Clark trail, used by Captain Clark on his return voyage in 1806. Accommodations include a fully contained trailer sleeping for 6, with a fire pit, picnic table: linens are provided, as well as all cooking utensils. This is part of a working ranch property and guests are invited to join the hosts Ken and Donna Laubach in their daily ranching chores which include checking cattle, mending fences, irrigating, branding, calving and vaccinating all chores are seasonal. Prices vary on the working ranch vacation.

$125.00 per night / up to 6 people for the camper and campground

$25.00 per night / tent set up possible for guests.

Directions: We are located 5 miles west of Big Timber. Big Timber is 60 miles east of Bozeman and 80 miles west of Billings. Both have major airports. We live along I-90 interstate and are very easy to locate. All roads are excellent for all traffic.
