Golden West Motel is a family owned and operated motel with an excellent reputation for cleanliness. We offer reasonable rates, quiet location, cable TV, phones, in-room coffee, queen beds, non-smoking units and parking in front of your own room. We have one 2 bedroom kitchenette that accommodates 4 people (including children). Sorry, no pets. We require a deposit sent in advance.
West Yellowstone is the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Our area offers lake, stream, and fly fishing, boating, wildlife, cross-country skiing and we are the snowmobile capitol of the world with hundreds of miles of groomed trails.
We offer a heated shop for use in the winter for repairs and un-thawing of snowmobiles. Shop size is 24' x 40', so there is plenty of room.
Directions: Golden West Motel is located in West Yellowstone, Montana. From Highway 191, turn right at 2nd stop light, proceed west 3.5 blocks, we are on your right
.From Highway 20 (from Idaho) turn right on Geyser Street, go 1 block, turn left and we are on your left
.From Yellowstone National Park, turn right on Boundary Street, go 1 block, turn left on Madison Avenue and proceed 4.5 blocks and we are on your right.
