Cooper Park House was designed in the Craftsman style, which was consistent with the art deco era. The house has 2800 square feet of space, and over 600 square feet of porches, which were an important part of summer living in Bozeman. The home was completed in 1914, and members of the Purdum family occupied the house until 1983. In 1998, the Colon-Keith family purchased Cooper Park House, and has spent four years restoring and decorating it in accordance with the original Fred Willson/Purdum plans and color schemes. All house systems have been modernized, but the ambiance remains that of the 'opening Yellowstone' era. .

Cooper Park House will accommodate up to 10 people. The home has 4 bedrooms plus a study. Bed configuration is: King in master, queen in second bedroom, 2 twin beds in each of the other two bedrooms as well as a double size sofa bed in the study. There are 2-1/2 baths in the home. The owners keep an apartment in the basement for their use when they visit Bozeman. Should there be a large group, the downstairs apartment could be made available which would give another bedroom with a queen bed as well as another bathroom. The home has all the conveniences you will need including a lovely kitchen, large fireplace in the living room with a wood supply outside the screen porch, cable television in the living room and study, phone as well as a second line for fax and internet use, and a large side yard with play area complete with sandbox and swing for small children.

Directions: The home is located directly across the street from Cooper Park in Bozeman. Conveniently located to many attractions including: 10 blocks to downtown Bozeman with restaurants and shopping; 5 blocks to MSU campus; 5 blocks to grocery stores (including a natural food store); 8 blocks to the aquatic center; 3 blocks to a community park which has swings and jungle gym for children (in winter this park has ice skating on natural ice); 20 minutes to Valley Ice Garden; 15 minutes to Bozeman Hot Springs; 1.5 miles to Museum of the Rockies; 1.5 hours to either West Yellowstone or Gardiner entrance to Yellowstone Park; 1 hour to Paradise Valley; 35 minutes to the Gallatin River; 25 minutes to Bridger Bowl (downhill skiing); 30 minutes to Bohart's Nordic Ski Center; 1 hours to Big Sky which offers both downhill and Nordic skiing.
