Mountain Trail Rides Inc. has spectacular rides guaranteed to show you why Montana is called 'Big Sky Country'. No experience is necessary. Safety is our first priority. Mountain Trail Riding Inc. riding program is designed to teach the basics of western riding on their own personally assigned horse. All rides begin with a brief riding lesson. This lesson will familiarize the rider with how the horse is trained and how to speak to the horse in a language that the horse can understand. The horses are gentle, well mannered and a guide is present on all rides. There is a 250 pound weight limit. There are a variety of rides and choices of riding times from 2 hours, 1/2 day with snack, full-day with lunch and steak dinner.

Directions: Mountain trail rides are available by appointment. Rides go out each day continuously and the horses are transported to various trailheads in the greater Missoula area.
