Cheyenne Tour is owned and operated by Warren Spang a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. We provide trail rides, horseback riding and van tours to local areas of interest on or near the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in southeastern Montana. Tours observe the wildlife and view the scenic surroundings of rolling hills and plains. Visit historic sites of interest to Northern Cheyenne history and learn about the Northern Cheyenne culture.

Visit Rosebud Creek which is the route traversed by the Seventh Calvary and Sitting Bull on their way to the Battle of the Little Big Horn. The Northern Cheyenne fought in the Battle of the Little Big Horn.

Cheyenne Tour is thirty miles from the battle field. Tours are arranged to the major sites of interest surrounding the battle. See Deer Medicine Rocks where Sitting Bull participated in a Sun Dance and had a vision of Custer's defeat. This vision is etched in an outcropping of rocks.

Places to tour are Battle of the Little Big Horn, Battle of the Rosebud, Buffalo Pasture Tour, St. Labre Museum, Deer Medicine Rocks, Buffalo Jump and Medicine Wheel.

A few of the activities include horseback riding, camping out, hand game lessons, horse painting, flute playing, sweat, Pow-wows, Cheyenne singing, story telling and history of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe.

Directions: From Billings go south on 27th Street. Take the I-90 Exit ramp, merge onto I-90 East. Take the I-90 East exit towards Hardin/Sheridan, merge onto I-90 East and go 53 miles. Take US 212 East and exit at the 510 Exit heading towards Little Bighorn Battle Field/Broadus and turn left onto US 212 and continue for 42 miles. Total distance is 110 miles from Billings to Lame Deer.
