Tizer Botanic Gardens are situated in the heart of the Elkhorn Mountains straddling Prickly Pear Creek in Jefferson City, Montana.

Take a self guided tour or let us take you down Our gardens paths to explore thousands of high altitude plants. which include annuals, roses, wild flowers, herbs, vegetables, perennial and bulbs, in some of the most amazing settings. The kids love our fairy and gnome gardens, where Upside Down Trees smile down and protect all their little friends. Try hiding out in the secret garden, journalizing your thoughts while being tranquilized by the crystal clear creek, the Buddha garden is the perfect place to sit and mediate. You are welcome to bring your lunch and sit at any of our numerous tables in the theme gardens, whether it be the Weeks Rose Gardens, the herb patch, the Patriotic garden or maybe the Shade or Perennial gardens. Visit the restored Gold Miner's cabin or the 'Hotel' which was strategical placed on a tiny little island in the middle of the creek.

Directions: From Helena take Interstate 15 south (18 miles) to Jefferson City (exit 176). Turn left and cross to the east side of the Interstate. Turn right at Highway 282 (Frontage Road) and drive 1.2 miles until you see the sign.
