It is located in the heart of 'Yellowstone Country' between the Absaroka-Beartooth mountains on the south and the Crazy mountains on the west. Two 'blue-ribbon' trout streams (the Yellowstone and Boulder rivers) are nearby.

If you want to float, boat, raft, tube, swim or hunt for agates, there is a public boat ramp less than a quarter of a mile from the house. If you want to hike, bike, use your camera or explore the wilds, the mountains are nearby with fantastic trails, ghost towns, and breathtaking scenery. If you have a hunting permit anywhere in the county, then you are in the middle of everything. If you want to ski then you are in luck. There are four ski areas within 110 miles. Bridger Bowl is one of the best kept secrets in skiing and Big Sky is one of the best of everything in skiing.

The cabin is completely furnished with everything you need except food and personal items. And yes, it now has indoor plumbing!! If you care to watch videos, play games or read - it's available, however, you'll miss the deer, eagles, Canadian geese and sometimes other wildlife that roam about the house.

You are also only 90 miles from Yellowstone National Park - perfect for day trips.
