Situated on 100 private acres in a beautiful mountain setting, the Running Horse Inn offers you many opportunities for relaxation and quiet adventure. It's easy here to settle back with a good book or discover the richness of the outdoors.

The Running Horse Inn has an abundance of year-round activities for your enjoyment. Hike on our secluded grounds or fish our private branch of the Ninemile Creek. Discover the many available trails for biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling. Bird watchers will love the variety of species that populate the valley, and nature artists can set up their easels and paint undisturbed on the private grounds. Whitewater raft through the nearby Alberton Gorge or fish the Clark Fork River and other area streams. Explore the Lolo National Forest that surrounds the property and possibly see elk, moose, deer, wolves and bear. You'll run out of time before you run out of things to do and see.

Your room at the Inn was planned with all your comforts in mind. The guest rooms were recently built and are tastefully themed with Western art and Indian artifacts. Each room has a private bath with a choice of steam shower, whirlpool bath and shower, or soaking tub and shower. Because we cater to adults, the rooms are quiet with queen-sized beds for your ultimate relaxation.
