Montana Mountain Lodge is nestled in the Little Belt Mountains half-way between Yellowstone and Glacier on scenic Highway 89 and is as special as the flora and fauna surrounding it. It is secluded and peaceful. A perfect respite for the weary traveler who wants to sit back and do nothing, or a perfect base for the energetic traveler who wants to do everything.

With a steaming guest jacuzzi, wood burning stoves, and five comfortable baths, the Lodge is set upon a hillside with fine mountain views of the Lewis and Clark National Forest that surrounds it. In the spring it is not uncommon to see cow elk with newborn calves across the way. Or, in the summer, hear the murmur of Sheep Creek and the splash of Cutthroat trout rising to a fly. In the winter an ideal accommodation for skiers and snowmobilers. Cross-country skiers can ski out the front door or go to the Silver Crest trail system only minutes away. Situated on 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, 10 miles to Showdown Ski Area and groomed cross-country trail system. Five rooms with private baths.

To start your day, a full breakfast of huckleberry pancakes or something equally wonderful is served each morning. When you consider all these things, you might say this. The Montana Mountain Lodge is one of the last best places in the last best place.

Directions: Montana Mountain Lodge is located just north of White Sulphur Springs on Highway 89, 75 miles south of Great Falls and 80 miles north of Livingston.
