.Flathead Lake is the largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi. It has more than 124 miles of sweeping shoreline at the foot of majestic mountains. You can hike Jewel Basin, Big Mountain in Whitefish, or golf locally at any number of professionally maintained courses. Spend an evening at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse or enjoy one of the many wonderful restaurants in the quaint town of Bigfork.
