The Pleasant Pheasant makes visitors welcome in a home like atmosphere with dogs and cats. We allow well-behaved dogs. We also have added stalls or stables for those traveling with horses. The Pleasant Pheasant Bed and Breakfast offers The Outhouse, The Bunk House, and The Barn with accommodations to suit just about any need. Breakfast food provided for first night in the pantry and fridge (no continental). Our average price is $125/night. BBQ available for guest usage. We can arrange special events and sightseeing.
Outhouse- (finish 8/2004) Efficiency Apt., laundry available.
Barn- 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, Jacuzzi, full kitchen, laundry, sleeps eight.
Bunkhouse- 4 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, laundry, satellite TV, sleeps eight, two barn cats.
The location is convenient for incoming visitors by commercial airlines into Bozeman and by private planes into a nearby airport. Day trips to Yellowstone National Park and to many other interesting points are possible with an excellent highway network. Fine dining is available in Emigrant or Pine Creek, eight miles away and in Chico Hot Springs. Fishing, hunting, horseback riding, trap shooting, river rafting, gold panning, skeet shooting, skiing, and snowmobiling are available nearby in the respective seasons.
Check in after 4:00pm and check out by 11:00am. No credit cards. Personal, travelers checks and cash welcomed. One night's deposit required (refundable with three days' notice).
Directions: The Pleasant Pheasant Bed and Breakfast is located about 17 miles south of Livingston, Montana, Exit 333 from Interstate 90, on Elbow Creek Road, 1.5 miles off East River Road (Montana 585). East River road is accessible off US Highway 89, 4 miles south of Exit 333. Coming north on Highway 89 from Emigrant, turn right into Mill Creek Road, then left into East River Road for 1.6 miles.
