Celebrate Captain Clark's visit to Pompeys Pillar in 1806, as part of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Canoe the Yellowstone River, visit numerous historical interpretive stations, eat buffalo burgers and listen to bluegrass music in the park. Free admission to Pompeys Pillar National Monument on this day. Come early with fees waived from 5:00pm on Saturday until 4:00pm Sunday, free camping and interpretive programs. On Sunday enjoy a pancake breakfast as well as a bird walk. Directions: Clark Days will be held at Pompeys Pillar National Monument which is 28 miles east of Billings.
