A get together of everyone and anyone interested in the Mullan Military Road built between Fort Walla Walla, WA and Fort Benton, MT, 1859-1862 on the authority of Congress. We share new information about John Mullan, the road itself, workers, geology, cartography, genealogy and transportation. Speakers and participants exchange information on latest developments and new materials located. There will be demonstrations and a field trip. Mineral County Museum has a large file on the road available to researchers all year. Headquarters for Mullan history is in Superior but supporters are located nationwide and are concentrated in the inland Northwest.
