NRA Father Day Rodeo |
Gardiner's annual NRA rodeo is always held on Father's Day weekend. Come and watch the rodeo parade at 11:00 that starts at the school and ends at the Forest Service. Concessions are available on the grounds and a dance follows the rodeo! Rodeo is Friday & Saturday evening. The rodeo starts at 6:00pm and the dance starts at 9:00pm. Events consist of bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, team roping, ladies and junior barrel racing, ladies and junior roping. Kids calf scramble or shoe race will be held for all kids under 10. Slack is usually held on Saturday - call for an exact date and time at 406-848-7971. Directions: Gardiner Rodeo will be held at the fairgrounds in the Jim Duffey Arena at the north end of Gardiner.
