The Half Moon Ranch Cattle Drive is held annually in June and again in September. Trailing 500 to 1,000 head of cattle from the prairies of central Montana to their summer range in the Big Snowy Mountains. This special cattle drive is a production of Montana Farm Bureau and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Montana Farm Bureau Foundation for investment in agricultural research and education solely for the benefit of Montana agriculture's youth.
