4th of July Fireworks |
Southgate Mall will be celebrating Independence Day with a Fireworks Spectacular beginning at 9:20 p.m. with the Silvertip Skydivers, followed by an invocation, the presentation of colors and the national anthem. The Missoula City Band puts on a festive performance from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm. The Fireworks begin at 10:30 pm. There is plenty of parking with great views for everyone. Lawn chairs are welcome to sit and enjoy the evening's performance in the Southgate Mall parking lot in front of Bob Wards. Concessions and special 3-D fireworks glasses are available at two concession stand locations, operated by the Boy Scouts.
Directions: The 4th Of July Fireworks is held at the Southgate Mall , between South Avenue and Brooks Street (US Highway West 12)
.In Missoula: On Brooks Street and/or South Avenue between Russell and Reserve Streets
.From Glacier National Park: Take US Highway 93 South to Interstate 90 East, Exit 101 at Reserve Street, take Reserve Street (right) to South Avenue about 5 miles, turn left on South Avenue and at the first stoplight, turn right
.From Yellowstone National Park: Take Interstate 90 West, Exit 105 at Van Buren Street, follow US Highway 12 West about 3.5 miles
.From the Bitterroot: Go north on Highway 93, turn left at the fifth light after crossing the Bitterroot River.
