Fort Benton is an historic town at the beginning of the Upper Missouri National Wild and Scenic River. The Bureau of Land Management Visitor Center is within the Fort Benton Historic District. The Center is operated by volunteers from June through September and is a major contact point for information about the river and its' resources. Brochures, maps, interpretive programs and displays are provided for visitor information.

Directions: Visitor Center is located 41 miles north east of Great Falls on US Highway 87, turn off 1 mile east to Fort Benton.
