Yellowstone Art Museum's Summerfair will be held July 9-10, 2005 at North Park. This is the largest juried arts and crafts festival in the region. Over 100 artisans' booths are featured on the green as well as a large children's area with hands-on activities and entertainment each day. Art will include basketry, dolls, clothing, quilts, folk art, furniture, strained glass, jewelry, pottery, gourds, metal sculpture, furniture, leather goods, ceramics, paintings and drawings, photography, candles, woodworks, flowers and much more. While parents are shopping, there will be plenty of fun for the children, including kid's entertainment, playground, face painting, working with clay, painting gourds, and creating pet rocks and picture frames. Dunking booth for adults. The food court offers a large variety of foods from fajitas to BBQ. Beer and wine are available.
Admission is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for students and $5.00 for a family.
Directions: Summerfair will be held at North Park in Billings. Interstate 90, South 27th street Exit. Travel north on 27th street to corner of 4th Avenue North, then east to North 19th and north to 6th Avenue North to North Park
