Huckleberry Festival |
The Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival is an annual celebration of the elusive wild huckleberry. Witness the fierce competition of the Huckleberry Baking Contest or sample the locally made huckleberry pies offered by the Volunteer Fire Department. Enjoy the pancake breakfast, sizzling BBQ lunch or Indian tacos. For dessert, savor a huckleberry ice cream cone and soda. Browse the booths offering arts and crafts,, huckleberry treats and gifts, country and Montana made delicacies. The Festival is located in a beautiful setting on the shores of Swan Lake. The day is filled with music, kids games, raffles, silent auction and all around family fun, including plenty of outdoor and lake activities to fill your experience with great memories of the scenic Swan. Directions: The Huckleberry Festival is located on Swan Highway 83 to Swan Lake Day use area, between mile markers 72 and 73.
