Since 1952 the Free Enterprise Health Mine, Montana's first commercial uranium producing mine, has been the non-traditional health vacation destination for people seeking pain relief and symptom management for many types of ailments. Visitors come from all over the United States and Canada. They come for radon therapy, unique only to Montana and many European countries.

While visiting the health mine, convenient RV camping is available. The view is spectacular and the quiet location is very restful, yet easily accessible. Overnight camping is available. Amenities include 30 amp service, a sanitary dump, showers, washer/dryer and telephone. Three full RV hookups with choice of 20, 30 or 50 amp. Visitors not traveling by RV may find accommodations in Boulder or at the local Boulder Hot Springs.

Come for a free tour or stay the recommended ten days and take the therapy. Mountain roads are conducive to hiking or biking during summer months.

Directions: The Free Enterprise Health Mine and RV Campground is located midway between Helena and Butte. If traveling Interstate 15, take the Boulder Exit 164. Once in Boulder, turn right at 2nd Street (hardware store) and travel two miles to top of hill. If traveling Interstate 90, take Highway 69 north to Boulder. Once in Boulder, turn left at 2nd Street (hardware store), then travel two miles to top of hill. Follow logo signs (posted in town and along the way). Once in Boulder, realize that you may continue to major interstates without any back-tracking or travel time lost.
