Six person capacity; cost $15.00. Access distance varies with snow conditions; under normal winter conditions, can drive within 5 miles
During summer months can drive to cabin with pickup. Doney Lake which is south of the cabin does not contain fish, but offers water fowl watching. No drinking water or electricity.
Directions: Doney Cabin is located 11 miles northwest of Deer Lodge. Travel north from Deer Lodge on Interstate 90 west take exit 166. Go south approximately 10 miles to the Junction of Forest Service Roads 302 and 645. Take Road 645 approximately 5 miles to the cabin.
