Three person capacity; cost $20.00. Road normally plowed to junction, about 1.5 miles from cabin. This two room log cabin is situated just below the timber high on the edge of Horse Prairie. The view from the cabin overlooks Horse Prairie. The cabin has a wood burning heating stove and a propane gas stove.
Directions: Horse Prairie Guard Station is located 44 miles south of Dillon. From Dillon take I-15 south 20 miles to Highway 324 cross the Clark Canyon Reservoir Dam and travel west on 324 for 21 miles at Red Butte take Road 181 west 6 miles to the junction of Road 7340.1 then west on 7340.1 for 1.5 miles to Horse Prairie Guard Station.
