Directions: From Interstate 15 take Bernice Exit 20 miles north of Butte. Take Forest Service Road 8481 which parallels the east side of the Interstate for two miles. You will pass an area that has been subdivided into homesites. Just beyond the subdivision is the trailhead with adequate parking for 5 cars.
