Patrick Ridge Trail (860) leads to a lookout that offers a panoramic view of the Tobacco Valley from Stryker and, on clear days, the snow-covered peaks of Glacier National Park. This is a strenuous hike with frequently changing topography. The trail winds through large openings, heavy stands of timber, rock outcroppings, and ridges. Dickey and Murphy Lakes can be seen along the hike.

Length: 7.5 miles.Trail Begins: Road 1002.Trail Ends: 1 mile south of Mt. Marston Lookout

Directions: From Murphy Lake Ranger Station, travel south 5.9 miles on US Highway 93. Turn east onto Summit Creek Road 1002. At the first fork, bear northwest and continue straight for 1.7 miles. The trailhead is on the uphill side of the road.
