If you're coming by air, Northwest, Delta/SkyWest, Horizon/Alaska, and United all fly into Gallatin Field Airport in Belgrade, the servicing airport to Big Sky. Rental cars or taxis can be utilized during both seasons

.Big Sky is situated between two units of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area, the Gallatin National Forest and Yellowstone National Park. The border of Yellowstone is just 18 miles south. At the base of Lone Mountain, the Big Sky Village is 9 miles west of Highway 191.
