Juniper Bay is located on Holter Lake. The campground offers 6 units and is located 4 miles south of the dam. Some of the campsites are right on the shore of the lake and others in a small gulch slightly back from the water. There is some brush in the gulch but otherwise it is a treeless area. Drinking water is not available.

This is a good place to launch a portable boat (boat ramp for trailer launching available at Log Gulch).

Directions: North of Helena take Exit 226 at Wolf Creek and follow the Recreation (frontage) Road northeast for 3 miles, turn east onto a good gravel road and go 2 miles to Holter Lake. Juniper Bay is 4 miles south of the dam.
