The Moss Mansion Historic House Museum captures early turn-of-the-century life of the Preston Boyd Moss family. The mansion is a 1903 red sandstone structure. Visitors will see original draperies, fixtures, furniture, Persian carpets and artifacts during their guided one-hour tour. Seasonal exhibits are featured. This home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by the famous American architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh who also designed the original Waldorf-Astoria, Tours begin with a 13-minute video which describes the activities of the Moss family and the role of Preston Moss in the development of Billings. Tour guides follow with an entertaining one-hour tour of the home. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors (62 years old and over), $5 for students with IDs and $3 for children, ages 6 to 12. .From the Airport, follow Airport Drive down into the city to 3rd Avenue North which is a one-way street which will lead directly to the Moss Mansion. Parking is also available at a designated parking lot located at 3rd Avenue North and 34th Street. Parking lot can accommodate campers and RVs.
