Swan Lake is located in the Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 2,500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 2 acres. The lake is about 20 miles long and a mile wide, one of Montana's most scenic. The Swan Mountain Range borders to the east. The area is wooded with birch and fir trees and Swan Lake is just across the highway from the Swan Lake Annes Campground. There are 36 campsites. Water and restrooms with handicapped facilities are located along paved loops on the shore of the lake. A boat launch is also conveniently located there. Fishing, swimming, and boating are popular activities at the lake. There are also scenic trails for hiking. Pets are welcome. Groceries, a cafe, laundry facilities and showers are within one mile of the site. The maximum recommended trail length for the area is 50 feet. The fee for the use of this campground is $11 a day. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Directions: Located just 1 mile northwest of Swan Lake on Montana Highway 83.
