Bear Creek Pass Campground is located in Bitterroot National Forest at an elevation of 6500 feet. The campground is has 7 campsites and restrooms. Water is not provided. There is a trailer limit of 32 feet. Right along the Montana-Idaho border, this is a primitive camping area used primarily by horseback riders and packers. The campground provides spectacular views and open meadows that can be accessed from the three trail systems near the camping area. There is a stock loading ramp available. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Directions: Travel 7 miles north of Darby on US Highway 93, then west 18 miles on Lost Horse Road/Forest Service Road 429. Travel on Road 429 is rough because of potholes and rocks. High clearance vehicles recommended.
