Live! at the Civic, a tradition continues with five touring musical and stage productions starting in September and ending in April. All concerts feature renowned artists who travel throughout the United States and Canada as noted musical or dance groups with ties to the heart of the arts in New York. All concerts are family oriented with season tickets available. A limited number of individual tickets may be available at selected performances. All regular series concerts are held at the Helena Civic Center with opening curtain at 7:30pm. Season ticket prices are: Single, $60; Family, $115 (2 adults and all children through High School); Reserved Section Seating: $85; Student, $25. Seating is General Admission. 2005-06 season: On Sept. 25, the 1940s musical revue 'In the Mood' features all of the sounds of the 1940s from big band instrumentals to romantic ballads. The doo-wop group Alley Cats comes to the Civic Center on November 14 2005, for an evening of humor and harmony. The Alley Cats will perform favorites of the 1950s and '60s, including 'Blue Moon,' 'Runaround Sue' and 'Earth Angel' On Jan. 24, 2006, Franc D'Ambrosio, 'The World's Longest Running Phantom,' will perform the best of Broadway, from the Gershwins to Andrew Lloyd Webber. Drawing from the traditional music of Scotland and Ireland, the contemporary Celtic group Craicmore comes to Helena on March 4, 2006. On April 24, 2006, sisters Yuki and Tomoko Mack will bring Duo Pianos to the Civic Center stage. The award winning duo has dazzled audiences around the world. In addition to its five-concert season, Live! will also present the Broadway musical 'Mame' on November 1, 2005. Season tickets do not include 'Mame'. 'Mame' tells the story of the indestructable, irrepressable Auntie Mame, whose life changes when she becomes the guardian of her 10-year-old-nephew, Patrick.
