Chapter One Book Store is an all-purpose, independent bookstore, with a broad selection of new books, and a used paperback exchange. We have a friendly, enthusiastic, well-read staff, eager to get the right book to the right reader. Our Montana/Regional book section is extensive, and Chapter One co-owner Russ Lawrence literally wrote the book on the Bitterroot Valley. We're also proud of our Children's Book section, but we offer books in over 60 categories, so there's bound to be something for everyone to read. For those who prefer to listen to their books, we carry new audio books, and have a used audio book section with both cassettes and CDs available for purchase at half price or by trade

Directions: Chapter One Book Store is on the corner of Third and Main in downtown Hamilton. From Highway 93 turn west on Main Street and go two blocks. We're the blue brick building on the right, 252 Main Street.
