Alpine Theatre Project: My Fair Lady |
America's most beloved musical as you've never seen it before! Often hailed as one of the greatest musicals ever written, My Fair Lady has become the standard by which all other musicals are judged. Adapted from George Bernard Shaw's, Pygmalion, My Fair Lady tells the story of Professor Henry Higgins and his attempts to pass off Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, as a proper lady fit for London's high society. The score by Frederick Loewe with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner boasts a collection of the most beloved songs in musical theatre: 'I Could've Danced All Night', 'Wouldn't it be Loverly', 'I've Grown Accustomed to her Face', and 'On the Street Where You Live', to name a few.
