Christmas Celebration |
Each year, Laurel kicks off the Christmas season with a celebration on the first Sunday in December. All day the businesses have open house, carolers line the streets and the High School band plays seasonal music at the Chamber. Concessions are available as well. A lighted parade begins at 5pm on Main Street. Directly after the parade a fireworks display is held at Firemen's Park. Santa arrives on the scene at this time as well.
Every year the residents and staff at the Laurel Evergreen Nursing Home hold a crafts bazaar. Baked goods, hand crafted items, etc. are sold. Crafters are invited to set up a booth at this event. Public is welcome to attend from 11am-5pm.
Directions: Christmas Celebration events take place downtown on Main Street and an open house and craft show will take place at the Evergreen Health & Rehab Center.
