The Dugout Days week-long camps offer children entering grades 1 through 5 a fun way to learn more about the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804 - 1806. The children learn about a different topic each day. Children learn to apply the knowledge they gain and make mementos of their camp.Sessions run 9:00am to noon each day for five days. Directions: The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center can be reached by following the brown Interpretive Center / State Park signs in Great Falls. 1/4 mile from Giant Springs; 1.5 miles east of Black Eagle Dam.
