Morony Dam Operator's Camp Interpretive Program |
Travel to an old dam operator's camp and learn about the history that took place at this historic site. Don't forget your camera as some buildings still stand at the Morony Operator's Camp with the beautiful Missouri River in the background.
Directions: This program will be located at the Morony Apartment Complex. This building is located 11 miles east of Highway 87. From Great Falls cross 1st Street bridge heading north on Highway 87. From the time you get on the bridge to the turn off it's 3 miles. You will see a brown sign directing you to turn right towards Morony Dam 12 miles. Turn right at the sing and head east 11 miles on the county road. Look for an apartment building on your left.
