First annual Indian Market adds excitement to the 200th commemoration of the Lewis & Clark expedition's month-long stay in central Montana. Bringing together the finest Indian artists against a backdrop of the Missouri River and the 'Shining Mountains' of central Montana, this Market will be a highlight to the National Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Signature Event, in Great Falls, Montana June 1 - July 4, 2005.
The Sweet Willow Indian Market will feature high quality, authentic traditional and contemporary arts and crafts made by Indian artists and the art of the tribes encountered by Lewis and Clark along their expedition. The Market will be an invitational, juried show, and artists can participate only through application and invitation. All artists will be selected based on the quality and authenticity of their artwork.
